Director Krish to make a movie on Rani Laxmibai?

Director Krish is riding a wave of success after Gautamiputra Satakarni. And now if reports are to believed, the director is all set to make a biopic on the warrior queen of Jhansi, Rani Laxmibai.
According to sources, Manikarna is the title of the film. The title happens to be Laxmibai’s birth name. It is rumoured that Kangana Ranaut will be playing the lead character in the period film.Krish was a last minute replacement for veteran director Ketan Mehta.
The first look of the film will be shot on March 23rd. V Vijayendra Prasad, who was also associated with Baahubali has come up with the script for the film.
